Lamb Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of garlic clove; minced
1/4 tsp of pepper (black)
1 tsp of salt
6 pcs of lamb steaks
1/2 tsp of rosemary (dried); chopped
or
1 tsp of rosemary (fresh); chopped finely
3 Tbsps of butter (unsalted)
1 pc of onion (medium); chopped finely
2 Tbsps of shallot; chopped
1/2 tsp of lemon zest; grated
1/2 lb of mushrooms (small)
1/2 c of vermouth (dry)
3 Tbsps of parsley (fresh); minced
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (350 degrees F). Combine salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic then rub onto the lamb. Heat (2 tablespoons) butter inside a skillet then saute the slices of meat above medium heat till browned well on 1 side. Drain off the excess oil from the pan. Flip then cook the second side till browned; remove from the skillet then keep them warm.
Add the remaining butter onto the used skillet, heat and add shallot, onion, mushrooms, and lemon zest; saute till tender. Add the vermouth then pour onto the meat and loosely cover with foil. Bake for 10 mins (for pink lamb), 15 mins (for well done). Remove the foil then continue to bake for another 5 mins.
Season then sprinkle parsley. Serve at once.
