Mughali Lamb Khorma Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 kilogram of lamb; diced
1 tomato; chopped finely
1 onion; chopped finely
2 tsps of ginger-paste
1/2 c of coriander (green); chopped finely
2 tsps of chili seasoning
1 chili (green)
1 tsp of garam-masala
2 Tbps of ground nuts (cashew)
1 c of yoghurt
1/2 c of coconut-cream
Instructions:
Have oil heated then fry the onion until golden. You then add the chili, garlic-paste & ginger. Fry very well. Then add coriander, chili seasoning & garam-masala, fry then add enough water in order to minimize burning of paste.
Once your oil begins to separate, add tomatoes then cook. Once cooked, you add meat , salt & yogurt. Continue cooking ’til lamb becomes tender.
Add nuts & coconut-cream then simmer mixture for 5 more mins.
